HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO WRITE?

For every point of Difficulty involved in the program, it will take 6 hours of work. The work need not be continuos and it may be divided between netrunners if more than one is involved in the process. For example, with a Diff of 40, it would take 240 hours of work to program Hellhound. Spider and the Eager decide to work in eight hour shifts; at this rate, they'll finish in about 30 days. However, they decide to work at the same time, cutting the time to only 15 days.
